Jerry Woodhouse
Chairman
Jerry joined Logistex in 2006 as Managing Director having previously gained experience in the process engineering and construction sectors. Jerry graduated in Civil Engineering before taking an MBA. More recently Jerry became a Fellow of the Institute of Logistics and Transport. In his role as Managing Director of Logistex, Jerry oversaw the successful growth of the business through to early 2021 when he became Chairman. Jerry will continue to lead a range of Company initiatives including championing health and safety.
Tony Gruber
Managing Director
Tony joined Logistex in 2003 as a Systems Engineer, having previously worked in the defence and telecoms industries. Following a number of technical roles Tony moved into management roles and completed his MBA. Management roles have included Hotline Manager, General Manager of the Reflex Business Unit, Head of Systems and Systems Director. Tony was appointed Managing Director in May 2021. His role at Logistex is to provide overall leadership in developing future business strategy and to ensure existing operations constantly meet or exceed the demands of its customers.
Andy Branch
Chief Technology Officer
Andy joined Logistex in 1992 as a Control Systems Engineer with a remit to develop automated cranes. After growing a controls capability in the business Andy took on responsibility for product engineering and manufacturing for the business which also included the Gainsborough conveyor facility. He took the role of Engineering Director for the business in 2005, and then Chief Operating Officer in 2020, leading to CTO in 2022. Andy is the company’s ultimate technical authority and his emphasis is on Solutions and Integrated Systems projects. In addition, he is responsible for driving forward partnerships with new technology providers and supporting our Health and Safety operations.
Mark Nicholson
Finance Director
Mark joined Logistex in 2003 having previously had experience in the automotive, defence and tobacco industries. Mark qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986, working at Ernst and Young and Grant Thornton. Mark's role at Logistex sees him with responsibility for the Finance, People and MIS functions.
Justin Saw
Business Development Director
Justin joined Logistex in 2010 as a Business Development Manager focusing on developing integrated systems with new customers. The Integrated Systems team continues to grow in line with our successes, to which Justin took on the role of Sales Director - Integrated Systems, and then Business Development Director.
Lorraine Kent
People Director
Lorraine is a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and joined Logistex in 2017 having previously worked for Asda Logistics, Greggs and DHL. Her first role with Logistex was as Head of People before being promoted to People Director where her focus is to implement the People strategy to support future growth.
Steve Sharman
Chief Operating Officer
Steve joined Logistex in 2018 as Head of Engineering and was promoted to the board in 2020 as Engineering Director. Steve has over 30 years of experience working with automation and capital equipment, having developed from apprentice to senior operational roles in businesses serving retail, processing, logistics and utilities industries. Steve’s role at Logistex is to ensure the business retains expertise to deliver best in class MHE technology solutions to all of Logistex’s current and future clients.
Rob O'Donnell
Systems Engineering Director
Rob joined Logistex in February 2015 as a Senior Program Manager, quickly taking on Resource Management, followed by the promotion to Software Engineering Director in April 2021. Rob has over 25 years’ experience in Software Project and Program management, delivering projects across EMEA in the manufacturing and logistics sectors. Rob is committed to successfully delivering projects, growing the skills of our people, and enhancing the Reflex solution, to the benefit our customers.
Neil Marron
Director of Engineering Support Services
Neil joined Logistex in 2004 as a service engineer, having previously served in the Royal Navy as an Aircraft Engineer. Neil quickly moved on to a Service Controller role in the Southern Region. Management progression has seen him take on roles as Site Manager, Account Manager and General Manager where he was ultimately promoted to the board in July 2022 as Director, Engineering Support Services. In 2019 Neil completed his MBA in Technology Management.
Neil’s role in Logistex is to lead the Engineering Support Services function which incorporates Field and Residential engineering teams, Logistex Hotline/Technical Support and Spares.
